As we've settled into our new home here in PNG, there are definitely tastes of home that we miss.
In addition to that, there are ministries here that could use your support - Mambu Haus that we volunteer at with our kids on Saturdays and the youth ministry team here that works tirelessly with the Ukarumpa youth.
If you're a doer, a giver and a task oriented person, would you consider checking out this list and seeing if there's something on there that you might want to contribute?
You can give in three ways:
1. Purchase the items yourself and ship them over to us (you can bring the parcel to my mom Shelley Turner, pay for shipping and she will make sure it gets to us) 2. Give through Wycliffe Canada to our project and we will go ahead and purchase the items from Australia and ship them over here to PNG 3. Purchase the items on Amazon.com and ship them to JAARS, which then ships them to PNG and charges the shipping to our account.

A few tips: 1. If you are sending food - do not write 'food' on the declaration but mark it as culinary items. It also seems to work best if you put the food in the package inside of tupperware
2. Tape that package up like crazy! The more tape, the less likely to be opened before we receive it.
3. Don't be too specific with what's in the box
4. Mark things as GIFTS.
5. Send early as it will take a month or so to get here
6. If you're sending food make sure to put things in airtight bags inside of the package - inside of tupperware is even better!
