I have been asked many times WHY we are uprooting our lives and moving to Papua New Guinea and, even though I feel like I have worked through my answer many times, some days my answer doesn't seem 'full' enough. It is difficult to put my finger on why it seems so complicated and so simple all at once.
I think this quote from "Love Does" sums it up quite nicely:
"We’re God’s plan, and we always have been. We aren’t just supposed to be observers, listeners, or have a bunch of opinions. We’re not here to let everyone know what we agree and don’t agree with, because, frankly, who cares? Tell me about the God you love; tell me about what He has inspired uniquely in you; tell me about what you’re going to do about it, and a plan for your life will be pretty easy to figure out from there." Bob Goff.
Quite simply - we love God, we are learning about the things He has inspired uniquely in us and we have an idea of what we're going to do about it as a family.
